Best places to get a CPF in Teresina

Teresina has Correios branches that process CPF applications:

Correios Centro (Rua Alvaro Mendes), the main downtown branch. Teresina's centre is compact and easy to navigate.

Correios Jockey (near the Teresina Shopping area), in the modern commercial zone on the east side. Air-conditioned and less crowded.

Teresina is consistently one of the hottest cities in Brazil, averaging 33-36 degrees year-round. Arrive at the Correios before 8am. By midday the heat is oppressive. Bring water and dress as light as possible.

Very few foreigners apply for CPFs here. The staff will be thorough but may need extra time with unfamiliar passport formats. Have everything prepared and bring copies of every document.
