Mexico-specific considerations

Compound surnames. Mexican passports include both paternal and maternal surnames (apellido paterno and apellido materno). Enter both exactly as they appear on your passport. This is similar to the Brazilian naming convention, so the system handles it well.

CURP vs CPF. If you are familiar with the Mexican CURP (Clave Unica de Registro de Poblacion), the CPF serves a similar purpose. It is your universal identifier in Brazil.

Mother's name. Enter your mother's full legal name including both her surnames. Mexican naming conventions are actually similar to Brazilian ones, so this field is usually straightforward for Mexican applicants.

Language advantage. Like Colombians, Mexican Spanish speakers can navigate Portuguese interactions reasonably well. The languages are close enough for basic communication.
