Best places to get a CPF in Cuiaba

Cuiaba has Correios branches that process CPF applications:

Correios Centro (Rua Joaquim Murtinho, near Praca da Republica), the main downtown branch. Cuiaba's centre is compact and navigable.

Correios Goiabeiras (Avenida do CPA area), in the modern commercial district north of the centre. Air-conditioned, which matters here.

Cuiaba regularly hits 40+ degrees. It is one of the hottest cities in Brazil. Go to the Correios first thing in the morning. By noon the heat is brutal. Bring water, wear light clothing, and plan your visit for the coolest part of the day.

Pantanal North and Chapada dos Guimaraes

Car rental at Cuiaba airport (Localiza, Movida, Unidas) requires a CPF. The Transpantaneira is 145km of dirt road with 122 wooden bridges. You need a proper vehicle and cannot rely on ride-hailing.

Chapada dos Guimaraes has dramatic red cliffs, waterfalls, and hiking trails. Local guides and pousadas accept Pix. Booking through Brazilian platforms requires a CPF.

Cuiaba-specific tips
